The card is free. The savings are real. This Program is simple to use. Once you request and receive your free RxAmerica identification card, just present it to a participating pharmacy. You could save up to 20% over the retail cost of prescription drugs...perhaps as much as 50% with generic drugs. You are assured the lowest price from a participating pharmacy for a specific drug on a specific day. RxAmerica's computer compares the retail price or "sale price" charged by the pharmacy with the ATLA discounted price and you are charged the lower of the two. You will experience a savings approximately 90% of the time. You can then submit your receipts to your insurance carrier for reimbursement. The Plan also offers a special feature if you are taking a maintenance drug. You can fill up to a 90-day supply of medication through RxAmerica's state-of-the-art Mail Service Facility. Their computer network screens your medications for potential drug interactions and allergic reactions.
